RACE DAY ENTRY FEES

Racing Fees - Rattlesnake Raceway pays the bills and keeps the tracks in good condition by charging race entry fees on race day.  Race day fees are slightly different depending on which track you are racing on, and depending on whether or not you are a paying club member.  ROAR membership is not the same as Club membership.  ROAR membership is required to play or race at our track (it gives you liability insurance), while Club membership is voluntary.  ROAR membership is $25 per year.  Please see the "Requirements" tab under "Rules" for more details on how to become a member of ROAR.  Club membership is $20 per year.  If you would like to become a paying club member then please talk to the race director on race day or to the Club President or Vice President.

If Short Course is your only race class then $10 entry fee.

The Novice class is Free

No Short Course discount at the Oval Track as all classes have the same length of mains!

TRANSPONDER UPDATE

The Club has acquired a limited number of public/loaner transponders for race day events. For those of you who are new to RC Racing, a transponder is a small electronic device that connects to your vehicle that times and counts your laps. If you are serious about racing, we highly recommend that you eventually acquire a personal transponder. They can be purchased new for around $100. You can find them through either of our sponsors, www.toadzrc.com or www.amainhobbies.com. Make sure you acquire a AMBrc compatible transponder! Contact us for details if necessary.
