TRACK INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
NO Exception... Valid ROAR Required to be on ALL Tracks!
In order to play and race at Rattlesnake Raceway, you must have first purchased track insurance. This insurance is called ROAR and can be purchased online at www.roarracing.com or at the track itself. This insurance is mandatory and must be in possession while on Rattlesnake's facility. The cost is $25 annually (yearly) for the first family member and $10 for each additionally member. Single day ROAR insurance can also be purchase at the track for $15. Once you have signed up for ROAR, an insurance membership card will be mailed to you. This card MUST be kept with you at all times while playing/racing at the track. That's it! Now you're ready to race and play. We have no other requirements. The track is now available as outlined in the Hours of Operation.
Rattlesnake Raceway is a volunteer run facility. We do ask that you be courteous and mindful of all the hardwork and effort that it takes to maintain a facility like this. Please only drive 1/8 and 1/10 scale Radio Control vehicles on our track!
TRANSPONDER UPDATE
The Club has acquired a limited number of public/loaner transponders for race day events. For those of you who are new to RC Racing, a transponder is a small electronic device that connects to your vehicle that times and counts your laps. If you are serious about racing, we highly recommend that you eventually acquire a personal transponder. They can be purchased new for around $100. You can find them through either of our sponsors, www.toadzrc.com or www.amainhobbies.com. Make sure you acquire a AMBrc compatible transponder! Contact us for details if necessary.
